Everyone in the crowd was eagerly awaiting on the edge of their shoes to see Melody perform live, especially since she rarely tours due to taking time away to raise her children. The energy in the Lodge Room was palpable as the electricity of the anticipation could be felt on the hairs on the back of your neck. And when Melody took the stage, the outburst of energy was equivalent to a bomb going off. She played every song her fans were eager to hear, including favorites like “Endless Shore,” “Some Time Alone, Alone”, and “Looking Backward.” Really, none of her albums were neglected.
Even though Melody is not big on touring, her performance did not suffer from her reclusiveness as she danced like a madwoman possessed. Melody’s performance was as exciting as it has ever been, and it’s exciting to wait for what she comes up with next.
